Chapter 01
How much is a visit visa for Pakistanis in 2026?
The official fee depends on the country and visa type, so the table below gives the current fee for each of our 18 countries, from free (Sri Lanka's tourist ETA) to the highest embassy visas, with the source for every number.
| Country | Visa type | Official fee | ≈ PKR | Processing | Source | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| (auto-built from each country page) |
PKR amounts are approximate, converted at the State Bank of Pakistan weighted average selling rate on the date shown. Embassies, visa centres and card issuers use their own rates and may add charges, so the amount you pay can differ.

Chapter 02
What else will you pay besides the visa fee?
The visa fee is only part of the cost; most Pakistanis also pay some of the following, which each country page itemises.
| Cost | When it applies | Who sets it |
|---|---|---|
| Visa centre service charge | UK, Canada, Schengen and other countries that use VFS Global, TLScontact or BLS | The visa centre, under contract with the embassy |
| Biometrics fee | Canada and some others charge it separately from the visa fee | The government |
| Optional fast or premium services | Priority processing, premium lounge, SMS, courier | The government or visa centre; always optional |
| Card or bank charges | Paying foreign-currency fees with a Pakistani card | Your bank |
| Travel insurance | Mandatory for Schengen; asked for at some airport checks | Insurer |
| Translation and attestation | Urdu documents such as some FRCs or nikah namas, where the embassy wants English | Translator / attesting office |
| Our service fee | Only if you use us; always shown separately | Visit Visa Specialists |
Watch out for websites that look official but charge several times the real fee. Our guide shows how to spot fake visa websites.
Chapter 03
How do we verify these fees every month?

We check every official fee against its official source on a fixed monthly cycle and record the date next to each number, so you can see exactly how fresh it is.
- First working day of each month: a consultant opens the official source for each country (embassy website, e-visa portal, GOV.UK, IRCC, the US State Department, the visa centre's fee page) and compares the fee with our data file.
- Only official sources set the number. If an official page cannot be reached, we try the embassy's other pages or the visa centre. If we still cannot confirm a fee, the table says "Not confirmed" rather than repeating a figure from another agency or a news site. News reports are used only to flag a possible change, which we then confirm.
- One data file feeds every page. The fee sits in one place and the country page, its fee page, this table and our structured data all read from it, so two pages can never show different numbers.
- Changes are logged. When a fee changes we record the old fee, the new fee and the date in the change log below.
- Named review. reviewer name signs off each monthly check; the "Verified" date on every page is the date of that sign-off.
- Mid-month changes. If an embassy announces a change between checks, we update within one working day of learning about it.
Chapter 04
How do we convert fees to PKR?
We convert foreign-currency fees using the State Bank of Pakistan's weighted average customer exchange rate (selling rate) on the date shown, rounded to the nearest PKR 100 (or PKR 1,000 above PKR 100,000).
- SBP compiles this rate from commercial banks' customer rate sheets and publishes it for information, so it is a fair reference for what a Pakistani pays to buy foreign currency on that date.
- Embassies that collect fees in PKR set their own conversion. Where an embassy publishes a PKR fee, we show that PKR fee instead of converting.
- Rates are refreshed on the same monthly cycle. If the rupee moves more than 3% in a week, we refresh early.

Chapter 06
Can you use these figures in your article or video?
Yes. Journalists, bloggers and YouTubers may quote this table with a link to this page and the "checked" date. The full table is available as a CSV download at /fees/fees.csv. Every quarter we publish a short Visa Fee Index for Pakistanis summarising what changed; contact info@visitvisaspecialists.pk for the latest edition.
Chapter 07
Frequently asked questions
Why are your PKR amounts marked approximate?
Most official fees are set in foreign currency, so we convert them at the State Bank of Pakistan rate on the date shown, and your bank, card or the visa centre may use a different rate on the day you pay.
Do these fees include VFS, TLS or BLS charges?
No, unless a row says so. The table shows the government visa fee; visa centre service charges, courier and optional services are listed separately on each country's fee page.
Is the visa fee refunded if my visa is refused?
Almost never. Embassies and e-visa portals keep the visa fee whether the decision is yes or no, so check your file before you pay. Our eligibility checker is a free first step.
How often do you check these fees?
Every country fee is checked against its official source at least once a month, and immediately when an embassy or portal announces a change.
