Chapter 02
Can Pakistanis get an Indonesia visit visa in 2026?
Yes. Pakistani passport holders can get an Indonesia visit visa in 2026, but only by applying online before travel, not on arrival. When we checked the official Indonesian e-visa portal on 13 October 2026 and selected Pakistan with "Tourism, Family Visit, and Transit", it offered four options:
- C1 – Tourist Single Entry Visitor Visa – 60 days
- D1 – Tourist Multiple Entry Visa for 1, 2 or 5 years
The B1 Visa on Arrival was not offered for Pakistan. The same check for an Indian passport did show B1, so the difference is real and not a website error. Read our full answer on whether Indonesia gives visa on arrival to Pakistanis.
Two other points matter:
- No sponsor needed for C1. The portal flags a few nationalities (Bangladesh, Cameroon, Guinea, Iran, Niger and Yemen) as needing an Indonesian guarantor. Pakistan is not on that list, so a Pakistani tourist can apply for C1 directly.
- Bali is Indonesia. There is no separate "Bali visa". The Indonesian C1 e-visa covers Bali, Jakarta, Lombok and everywhere else.
Chapter 03
Which website is the official Indonesia e-visa site?

The only official Indonesia e-visa website is evisa.imigrasi.go.id, run by the Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia. Type it yourself. Do not click a Google ad.
In Google results from Pakistan, several non-government sites rank next to the official portal. In our October 2026 search check these included e-visa-indonesia.com, evisa-indonesia.info and evisa-imigrasi-go.id. The last one copies the official address with dashes instead of dots. None of these is a government website. Such sites typically charge more than the official fee and add a layer between you and the immigration department.
How to check you are on the real site:
- The address ends in .go.id (Indonesia's government domain), exactly
evisa.imigrasi.go.id. - The fee for C1 is shown as IDR 1,000,000, not a dollar package price.
- You pay the Indonesian government directly by card on the portal.
Our guide to fake visa websites lists the official domain for every country we cover.
Chapter 04
How much is the Indonesia visit visa fee for Pakistanis?
The official Indonesia visit visa fee for Pakistanis is IDR 1,000,000 (≈ PKR 15,400) for the C1 single-entry tourist e-visa, as listed on evisa.imigrasi.go.id on 13 October 2026.
| Visa | Official fee (IDR) | Our service fee | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| C1 tourist, single entry, 60 days | IDR 1,000,000 (≈ PKR 15,400) | Quote on WhatsApp | Official fee + our fee |
| D1 tourist, multiple entry, 1 year | IDR 3,000,000 (≈ PKR 46,300) | Quote on WhatsApp | Official fee + our fee |
| D1 tourist, multiple entry, 2 years | IDR 5,000,000 (≈ PKR 77,200) | On request | — |
| D1 tourist, multiple entry, 5 years | IDR 10,000,000 (≈ PKR 154,000) | On request | — |
Things to know about the fee:
- It is not refundable. The official e-visa FAQ says payments are not refunded if a visa is denied, not used, or issued with a mistake you made.
- You pay by card on the portal. A Pakistani debit or credit card enabled for international online payments usually works. Your bank may add its own foreign-transaction charge.
- Bali adds IDR 150,000. If you visit Bali, the provincial tourist levy is separate (see below).
- Why do Pakistani agents quote different prices? Agency prices bundle the government fee with their own charges. We always show both parts separately. See all our prices on the fees page.

Chapter 05
What documents do Pakistanis need for an Indonesia visa?
The official C1 document list on evisa.imigrasi.go.id is short:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months.
- Personal bank statement for the last 3 months with a balance of at least USD 2,000 or the equivalent, showing your name, the statement period and the balance.
- A recent colour photograph.
The portal's FAQ also advises carrying a printed return ticket, because the immigration officer can ask for it at entry. In practice, a strong Pakistani file also answers the question "will this person come back?". The extra documents below are not uploaded to the Indonesian portal in every case, but they are what FIA asks to see at the Pakistani airport, and they help if Indonesian immigration questions you.
If you are employed
- Bank statement (3 months, USD 2,000 equivalent or more), ideally your salary account
- Employer leave letter or NOC on letterhead, with your designation and leave dates
- Last 3 salary slips
- Government employees: departmental NOC (the FIA FAQ says the original must be shown at immigration)
If you run a business
- Personal bank statement (3 months); a business account statement as backup
- Business NTN certificate and latest FBR tax return
- Chamber of Commerce membership or SECP incorporation certificate
- Business letterhead cover letter is useful if you are questioned
If you are a student
- Student card or enrolment letter
- Parents' sponsorship letter, CNIC copy and bank statement if they are paying
- NADRA Family Registration Certificate (FRC) to prove the relationship
- The USD 2,000 statement is a personal requirement on the portal; if your own account does not show it, ask us before applying, as the portal asks for a personal statement
If you are a housewife or dependent
- Spouse's bank statement and a sponsorship letter, plus nikah nama or FRC
- If travelling with your husband, his documents plus proof of relationship are normally enough at the airport
- Your own statement if you have one
If you are retired
- Pension book or pension bank statement
- Retirement letter or PPO
- Bank statement showing the USD 2,000 equivalent
If you are a freelancer
- Bank statement showing regular foreign remittances (PRC/PRCs from your bank help)
- FBR tax return and NTN if filed
- Profile pages from the platforms you work on (for example, Upwork or Fiverr) and contracts or invoices
Tip: tap an item to tick it off. Your ticks stay on this device.
Chapter 06
How much bank balance do you need for an Indonesia visa?
You need a bank statement for the last 3 months showing at least USD 2,000 or the equivalent. That is the official C1 figure on evisa.imigrasi.go.id as of 13 October 2026. The same USD 2,000 "proof of living expenses" rule applies to the D1 multiple-entry visa.
Practical advice:
- The balance should be there for the whole 3 months, not deposited the week before. A sudden large deposit looks like borrowed money.
- Keep it consistent with your income. A teacher earning PKR 90,000 with PKR 2.5 million in the account will be asked questions.
- Never use a "bank statement arrangement" service. Borrowed or fake balances can lead to refusal, a ban and, at the Pakistani airport, an FIA case.
Chapter 07
How to apply for an Indonesia visa from Pakistan, step by step
- Open evisa.imigrasi.go.id (type the address). Choose "Visa" and then "Tourism, Family Visit, and Transit".
- Select Pakistan as your nationality and choose C1 – Tourist Single Entry Visitor Visa – 60 days (or D1 if you travel often).
- Create an account and fill in passport details exactly as printed. A mistake means a new application and a lost fee.
- Upload your passport bio page, photo and 3-month bank statement.
- Pay IDR 1,000,000 by card on the portal.
- Download the e-visa from the "Application" tab once approved. Print two copies.
- Before you fly, fill the free All Indonesia arrival card and, for Bali, pay the IDR 150,000 levy.

Chapter 08
How long does an Indonesia visa take for Pakistanis?
The official portal does not publish a fixed processing time for the C1 tourist e-visa. We advise applying at least 2–3 weeks before your flight and not paying for non-refundable tickets until the e-visa is issued.
Timing rules that are official:
- The C1 e-visa must be used to enter Indonesia within 90 days of issue.
- You can stay up to 60 days, and the C1 can be extended inside Indonesia through immigration.
Chapter 09
What are Bali's tourist levy and the All Indonesia arrival card?

Two separate steps sit on top of the visa.
1. Bali tourist levy: IDR 150,000 per person. The Bali Provincial Government charges foreign tourists a levy of IDR 150,000 (≈ PKR 2,300), paid once per visit before you leave Indonesia, according to the official Love Bali FAQ. Pay online at lovebali.baliprov.go.id before you travel (cards, bank transfer and QRIS are accepted) or at counters at Bali's airport. You get a voucher with a QR code by email. The legal basis is Bali Provincial Regulation No. 2 of 2025. Only pay on the .baliprov.go.id site.
2. All Indonesia arrival card: free. allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id is Indonesia's official online arrival declaration. It combines the immigration arrival card, customs declaration and health declaration into one QR code (Fragomen, law firm summary). Secondary sources say you fill it within about 3 days before arrival. It is free. Any site charging a fee for it is not official.
Chapter 10
Why Indonesia visas get refused (and how to avoid it)
Indonesian immigration does not publish refusal reasons in detail, but these are the problems we see in Pakistani files, with the fix for each.
| Refusal reason | How to avoid it |
|---|---|
| Bank statement below USD 2,000 equivalent, or not covering 3 months | Use a statement that covers the full 3 months with the balance maintained |
| Statement missing your name, period or balance | Get a bank-stamped statement or an official e-statement that shows all three |
| Passport validity under 6 months | Renew first; Pakistani passport renewal is fast compared with a lost visa fee |
| Wrong visa type chosen (for example a business visa for a holiday) | Choose C1 under "Tourism, Family Visit, and Transit" |
| Typing errors in passport number or name | Copy from the passport's machine-readable zone; double-check before paying |
| Applying through an unofficial site that submitted wrong data | Apply only on evisa.imigrasi.go.id or through an agent who shows you the official portal receipt |
| Doubtful purpose (no plan, very long stay, one-way ticket) | Book a cancellable return flight and a realistic itinerary |

Chapter 11
What happens at the airport? (FIA and arrival checks)
At the Pakistani airport (FIA): Indonesia is a long-haul holiday destination usually reached via Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Doha or Dubai, and FIA immigration checks visit-visa travellers closely. The FIA FAQ lists what a visit-visa traveller should carry: a valid passport, a return ticket, a confirmed hotel booking with advance payment, sufficient funds (credit card funds are acceptable) and a sound profile. Dawn reported in December 2025 that over 66,000 passengers were offloaded in 2025, most for insufficient or unverified documents.
Carry, on paper and on your phone:
- Printed C1 e-visa
- Return ticket (book the return with the same booking/PNR where possible)
- Paid or confirmed hotel booking for the whole stay
- Bank statement, debit/credit card, and employer NOC or business documents
- Travel insurance
- Polio vaccination certificate if required for your departure
Use our offloading checklist the night before you fly. Nobody can promise you will not be stopped; a complete, genuine file is the best preparation.
On arrival in Indonesia: show your passport, e-visa and All Indonesia QR code. The officer can ask for your return ticket and hotel details. In Bali, levy vouchers may be checked.
Chapter 12
Pakistanis living in the UAE or Saudi Arabia
Indonesian visa rules depend on nationality, not residence. A Pakistani living in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh or Jeddah applies for the same C1 e-visa on evisa.imigrasi.go.id and pays the same IDR 1,000,000.
What changes:
- Bank statement: your UAE or Saudi salary account can show the USD 2,000 equivalent (AED or SAR is fine; it is "or equivalent").
- Employer letter: a UAE/KSA employer leave letter and salary certificate.
- Residence: keep your Emirates ID or iqama valid for your return date; your return ticket should go back to the UAE or KSA.
- No FIA check if you fly from the Gulf, but airline staff still check your e-visa and return ticket.
Chapter 13
Indonesia vs. similar destinations
| Question | Indonesia | Malaysia | Thailand |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa on arrival for Pakistanis? | No | No | No |
| How to apply | Online e-visa (evisa.imigrasi.go.id) | Online eVISA | Online Thai e-Visa |
| Max stay on a tourist visa | 60 days (C1) | 30 days | Depends on visa type |
| Official bank requirement published? | Yes, USD 2,000 for 3 months | — | — |
Indonesia's C1 gives Pakistani tourists a longer stay (60 days) than many regional options, and the official requirement list is short and clear. If you want a shorter, cheaper trip, compare the Malaysia visa for Pakistanis and the Thailand visa for Pakistanis. For a city break, see the Singapore visa. Not sure which fits you? Chapter 14
Frequently asked questions
Can Pakistanis get a visa on arrival in Indonesia?
No. On 13 October 2026 the official Indonesian e-visa portal, evisa.imigrasi.go.id, did not offer the B1 Visa on Arrival (or e-VOA) to Pakistani passport holders. Pakistanis must get a C1 tourist e-visa or a D1 multiple-entry tourist visa online before flying.
How much is the Indonesia visit visa fee for Pakistanis in 2026?
The official fee for the C1 single-entry tourist e-visa is IDR 1,000,000, as listed on evisa.imigrasi.go.id on 13 October 2026. The D1 multiple-entry tourist visa costs IDR 3,000,000 for 1 year, IDR 5,000,000 for 2 years and IDR 10,000,000 for 5 years.
Do Pakistanis need a sponsor for an Indonesia tourist visa?
No sponsor is required for the C1 tourist e-visa. On 13 October 2026 the official portal listed Pakistan among nationalities that can apply for C1 themselves, unlike some nationalities such as Bangladesh, Iran and Yemen, which are flagged as guarantor-only.
How much bank balance do I need for an Indonesia visa from Pakistan?
The official C1 requirement is a personal bank statement for the last 3 months showing at least USD 2,000 or the equivalent. The statement must show your name, the statement period and the balance.
What is the official website for the Indonesia e-visa?
The only official website is evisa.imigrasi.go.id, run by Indonesia's Directorate General of Immigration. Sites such as e-visa-indonesia.com, evisa-indonesia.info and evisa-imigrasi-go.id are not government websites, even though they rank in Google.
How long can Pakistanis stay in Indonesia on a tourist visa?
The C1 tourist visa allows a stay of up to 60 days, and it can be extended inside Indonesia. You must enter Indonesia within 90 days of the visa being issued.
Is there a separate visa for Bali?
No. Bali is part of Indonesia, so the same Indonesian C1 e-visa covers Bali. Bali does charge foreign tourists a separate levy of IDR 150,000 per person per visit, paid through lovebali.baliprov.go.id.
What is the All Indonesia arrival card?
All Indonesia is Indonesia's free online arrival declaration at allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id. It combines the immigration arrival card, customs declaration and health declaration into one QR code, and it is separate from your visa.
Is the Indonesia visa fee refundable if my visa is refused?
No. The official e-visa FAQ says payments are not refunded if a visa request is denied, if the visa is unused, or if you made an error in the application.
Can Pakistanis living in Dubai or Saudi Arabia apply for an Indonesia visa?
Yes. Indonesian visa eligibility depends on your nationality, not your country of residence, so a Pakistani in the UAE or Saudi Arabia applies for the same C1 e-visa online at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. A UAE or Saudi bank statement can show the USD 2,000 balance.
