Chapter 02
Can Pakistanis get a Turkey visa in 2026?
Yes. Pakistanis can get a Turkey visit visa in 2026, but ordinary passport holders must have the visa before travelling. There is no visa on arrival. According to Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, checked 13 October 2026:
- Ordinary Pakistani passports need a visa to enter Türkiye.
- Pakistanis with a valid Schengen, USA, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit may get a one-month single-entry e-Visa online at evisa.gov.tr.
- Official passport holders are visa-exempt for up to 90 days.
So there are two routes, and which one you use depends on what is already in your passport.
Chapter 03
Can Pakistanis get a Turkey e-Visa?
Only if you already hold a valid US, UK, Ireland or Schengen visa or residence permit. If you do, apply online at evisa.gov.tr, the only official Turkish e-Visa website. If you do not, you need a sticker visa through Anatolia.
Conditions for the conditional e-Visa, as published by Türkiye's foreign ministry missions (Turkish Consulate General Los Angeles, January 2025):
- A valid (not expired) visa or residence permit from a Schengen country, the USA, the UK or Ireland
- A return ticket and hotel reservation
- At least USD 50 per day of your stay
- Travel for tourism or business only
- Entry by air (not at land borders)
Practical points:
- A UAE, Saudi, Canadian or Australian visa does not qualify. Only the four named.
- The e-Visa is single entry, one month.
- e-Visa fee: the USD amount is displayed on evisa.gov.tr during the application, before you pay. Third-party sites charging more than the portal shows are middlemen; the Turkish government only issues e-Visas at evisa.gov.tr. See our fake visa websites guide.
Chapter 04
How much is the Turkey visa fee in Pakistan?
The Turkey sticker visa fee for Pakistani passports is PKR 52,200 for a 3-month single-entry visa in 2026, per the Anatolia 2026 fee structure announced by the Turkish Embassy Islamabad.
| Visa (Pakistani and non-EU passports) | Fee (PKR, excl. GST) | Our service fee | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single entry, 3 months | PKR 52,200 | Quote on WhatsApp | Fee + GST + our fee |
| Single entry, 6 months | PKR 58,000 | Quote on WhatsApp | Fee + GST + our fee |
| Single entry, 12 months | PKR 63,800 | Quote on WhatsApp | Fee + GST + our fee |
| Multiple entry, 12 months (repeat visitors) | PKR 98,600 | Quote on WhatsApp | Fee + GST + our fee |
| Conditional e-Visa | USD amount shown on evisa.gov.tr | Quote on WhatsApp | Portal fee + our fee |
Rules printed on the official fee table:
- Paid in PKR cash only at the Anatolia centre.
- Non-refundable, even if the visa is refused.
- GST is added on top of the listed amounts.
- VIP application costs PKR 4,350 extra; applications processed after 6:00 pm cost PKR 5,600 extra. VIP is a comfort service only; it does not speed up the embassy's decision.
- The compulsory travel health insurance (see below) is a separate cost.
Anatolia's table shows one combined "visa application fee". See all our prices on the fees page.

Chapter 05
What documents do Pakistanis need for a Turkey visa?
The official list is Türkiye's Turkish Visa Application Checklist (Tourism Purpose), issued for Pakistan and published by Anatolia. Core documents for every adult:

Chapter 06
How much bank balance do you need for a Turkey visa?
Türkiye's checklist for Pakistani applicants does not set a fixed minimum balance. It asks for "financial documents showing sufficient accessible funds for the planned trip", with a 3-month statement and a maintenance certificate (tourism checklist). For the e-Visa route, Turkish missions state at least USD 50 per day of stay.
Principles that matter more than a number:
- The balance should cover your whole trip comfortably and fit your declared income and tax return.
- Anatolia verifies documents with banks and issuing bodies on the embassy's behalf, and reports forged or altered documents to the embassy (Anatolia). Fake statements end in refusal and worse.
Chapter 07
Where do Pakistanis apply? (Anatolia jurisdictions)
Pakistanis apply for a Turkey sticker visa only at Anatolia Travel Services centres. The Turkish Embassy Islamabad confirmed on 20 February 2026 that applications are received exclusively through Anatolia. Since 11 March 2026, you must use the centre for the province where you work or run your business, or where your CNIC address is (Anatolia):
| You work / CNIC address in | Apply at |
|---|---|
| Islamabad, Rawalpindi, KPK, AJK | Islamabad or Peshawar |
| Punjab | Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad or Gujranwala |
| Hazro, Kamra, Attock, Chakwal, Mianwali | Islamabad or a Punjab centre |
| Sindh, Balochistan | Karachi or Hyderabad |
Centres are open Monday to Friday, 09:00–15:00 for submission, walk-in with a token (no appointment for tourist visas). Only the applicant may enter; parents may accompany under-18s. Main addresses (Anatolia contact page):
- Islamabad: ISE Tower, Offices 203, 206 & 207, 2nd Floor, Blue Area
- Lahore: High Q Tower, Ground Floor, Jail Road, Gulberg
- Karachi: The Forum, Offices 125–127, 1st Floor, Clifton

Chapter 08
How to apply for a Turkey visa from Pakistan, step by step
- Check the e-Visa first. If you hold a valid US/UK/Ireland/Schengen visa or residence permit, apply at evisa.gov.tr and skip the rest.
- Prepare documents against the tourism checklist (A4 copies, bank documents not older than 30 days).
- Buy the approved travel insurance (USD 60,000 cover) at the Anatolia centre.
- Go to your jurisdiction's Anatolia centre early in the day, take a token, and submit. Staff fill the online form with you; you sign it and the declarations.
- Fill the handwritten interview form and give biometrics (photo and 10 fingerprints; no mehndi on fingertips).
- Pay in PKR cash and keep the computer-generated receipt. Do not pay anyone anything beyond that receipt.
- Wait for the decision (around 6 weeks or more) and collect your passport.
Chapter 09
How long does a Turkey visa take from Pakistan?
Standard processing generally takes around 6 weeks at least, according to Anatolia. Since 2025, all applications countrywide are subject to approval by the Ministry in Türkiye, so the mission cannot confirm a fixed timeline, and peak season takes longer.
Timing rules:
- Apply 15 days to 3 months before travel (the checklist's recommendation); the embassy recommends at least one month ahead, and your travel date may be at most 90 days after submission.
- There is no fast-track or expedite service, from the embassy or from Anatolia.
- Anyone promising a faster decision for money is not telling the truth.
Chapter 10
Why Turkey visas get refused (and how to avoid it)
| Refusal reason | How to avoid it |
|---|---|
| Insufficient or unexplained funds | 3-month statement with stable balance that matches your tax return; maintenance certificate |
| No tax footprint (no NTN, no return) | File your FBR return; Türkiye's checklist asks for tax returns and NTN |
| Weak cover letter or unclear purpose | Write a specific one-page letter: dates, cities, who pays, who travels |
| Missing FRC or wrong family documents | Get a current NADRA FRC; add NOC for children travelling with one parent |
| Applied at the wrong centre | Follow the jurisdiction rule from 11 March 2026 |
| Forged or altered documents | Anatolia verifies documents with banks and issuers; only submit genuine papers |
| Reapplying too soon | Wait 6 months after a refusal; Pakistanis refused in the last 6 months cannot apply |
| Wrong insurance | Buy only an embassy-approved policy (USD 60,000, repatriation included) |
Our Turkey visa refusal guide explains how to read a refusal and when to reapply.

Chapter 11
What happens at the airport? (FIA and arrival checks)
At the Pakistani airport: Istanbul and other Turkish cities are popular routes and FIA immigration checks visit-visa passengers closely. The FIA FAQ lists a return ticket, a confirmed hotel booking with advance payment, sufficient funds (credit card funds acceptable) and a sound profile. Anatolia tells you not to pay for hotels and flights before the visa, so once the visa is issued, book and pay for your hotel and flight.
Carry:
- Passport with visa (or printed e-Visa plus your US/UK/Ireland/Schengen visa)
- Return ticket and paid hotel booking
- Bank statement and cards
- Employer NOC or business documents
- Travel insurance certificate
- Polio vaccination certificate if required for your departure
Use our offloading checklist before you fly. Nobody can promise you will not be questioned.
On arrival in Türkiye: e-Visa holders must show the valid supporting visa itself (Turkish officers recognise valid sticker visas or permits) plus a return ticket, hotel booking and funds. Working on a visit visa is illegal in Türkiye and in Pakistan can lead to prosecution under the Emigration Ordinance. We only assist genuine visitors.
Chapter 12
Pakistanis living in the UAE or Saudi Arabia
A UAE or Saudi residence permit does not make you eligible for Türkiye's e-Visa; only US, UK, Ireland and Schengen visas or permits count (MFA). Gulf-based Pakistanis therefore apply for a sticker visa through Türkiye's missions or their visa application centres in the country where they live, with:
- Residence visa / Emirates ID or iqama valid well beyond the trip
- Employer leave letter and salary certificate
- Gulf bank statement
The Pakistani-centre jurisdiction rules above apply to applicants in Pakistan. If you hold a US, UK or Schengen visa in your passport, the e-Visa is open to you wherever you live.
Chapter 13
Turkey vs. similar destinations
| Question | Türkiye | Azerbaijan | Schengen |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa route for most Pakistanis | Sticker via Anatolia | Online ASAN e-visa | Sticker via VFS/TLS/BLS |
| Official fee (2026) | PKR 52,200 + GST (3 months) | USD 20 standard e-visa | See Schengen page |
| Processing | Around 6 weeks or more | 3 working days (standard) | See Schengen page |
| Stay | Per visa (multiple: 90 in 180) | 30 days | Up to 90 in 180 |
For a fast, simple trip, the Azerbaijan e-visa for Pakistanis is easier. A previous Schengen or UK visa opens the Turkish e-Visa, so see our Schengen visa and UK visa pages. Check your profile with our eligibility checker.
Chapter 14
Frequently asked questions
Can Pakistanis get a Turkey e-Visa?
Only some Pakistanis can. Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Pakistani ordinary passport holders with a valid Schengen, USA, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit may get a one-month single-entry e-Visa at evisa.gov.tr. Everyone else needs a sticker visa through Anatolia Travel Services.
How much is the Turkey visa fee in Pakistan in 2026?
The Turkey sticker visa fee for Pakistani passports is PKR 52,200 for a 3-month single-entry visa, PKR 58,000 for 6 months and PKR 63,800 for 12 months, plus GST, per the 2026 fee structure published by the Turkish Embassy Islamabad and Anatolia Travel Services. A 12-month multiple-entry visa costs PKR 98,600.
Where do Pakistanis apply for a Turkey visa?
Pakistanis apply for a Turkey sticker visa only through Anatolia Travel Services visa application centres in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Hyderabad. The Turkish Embassy Islamabad announced in February 2026 that applications are received exclusively through Anatolia.
How long does a Turkey visa take from Pakistan?
Anatolia Travel Services says standard processing generally takes around 6 weeks at least, because since 2025 applications from Pakistan are subject to approval by the Ministry in Ankara. There is no fast-track option.
How much bank statement is needed for a Turkey visit visa?
Türkiye's checklist for Pakistani applicants does not set a fixed minimum balance. It asks for a bank statement for the last 3 months showing sufficient accessible funds for the trip, plus a bank account maintenance certificate and income documents such as FBR tax returns.
Can I apply for a Turkey multiple-entry visa on my first trip?
No. Since 25 November 2025, Pakistanis can only apply for a Turkey multiple-entry visa if they have entered Türkiye at least once before on a single-entry visa, shown with entry and exit stamps.
Is travel insurance required for a Turkey visa from Pakistan?
Yes. Travel health insurance with USD 60,000 cover, including repatriation, is compulsory for the Turkey visa, and only insurers approved by the Turkish Embassy and Consulates are accepted; the approved insurer is available at Anatolia centres.
Can I reapply for a Turkey visa after refusal?
Not immediately. Anatolia's checklist states that if your Turkey visa for any purpose was refused in the last 6 months, you are not eligible to apply for a new Turkey visa until 6 months have passed since the refusal.
Can I use my UAE residence visa to get a Turkey e-Visa?
No. The Turkey e-Visa condition for Pakistanis only accepts a valid Schengen, USA, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit. A UAE or Saudi residence permit does not qualify, so Gulf-based Pakistanis apply for a sticker visa.
Should I book a paid hotel and flight before applying for a Turkey visa?
No. Anatolia advises applicants not to buy confirmed tickets or paid hotels before the visa is issued; submit reservations instead. After approval, pay for your hotel before flying because FIA checks visit-visa travellers' bookings.
