Pakistan does not yet have a comprehensive personal data protection law in force: the Personal Data Protection Bill had still not been enacted as of October 2026, according to news reporting. The Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA) makes it an offence to obtain, sell, possess, transmit or use another person's identity information without authorisation (section 16). We handle your identity documents only with your authorisation and only for your application. When a Pakistani data protection law comes into force, we will update this policy to meet it.

If you are applying from the UAE, Saudi Arabia or another country, that country's data protection rules may also apply to how we handle your data, and we will follow them.
