Chapter 02
Can Pakistanis get a Singapore visit visa in 2026?
Yes. Pakistani passport holders can get a Singapore visit visa in 2026, but they must hold it before travelling. Pakistan is on the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) visa-required list, along with countries such as Bangladesh and India. There is no visa on arrival, and the 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility does not cover Pakistani nationals.
ICA describes the visa as "pre-entry permission". It lets you travel and seek entry, but the ICA officer at the checkpoint decides whether you enter and how long you may stay.
No major rule change for Pakistanis was announced between 2025 and 13 October 2026. The SGD 30 fee and the filing routes on the ICA Pakistan page are unchanged.
Chapter 03
Who can submit a Singapore visa application for a Pakistani?
A Singapore visa for a Pakistani traveller can only be submitted by one of these three filers. ICA does not accept visa applications at its immigration counters, and there is no self-apply portal for Pakistani travellers.
| Route | Who files | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Local contact | A Singapore citizen or permanent resident aged 21+ with a Singpass account (or a Singapore company, for business visits), using ICA's e-Service | Visiting family or friends in Singapore |
| 2. ICA strategic partner | A partner authorised to use ICA's e-Service | Tourists without a contact in Singapore |
| 3. Singapore Overseas Mission or its authorised visa agent | The mission, or an agent it appoints | Applicants near a mission that appoints agents |
What this means in Pakistan: Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists its High Commission to Pakistan as non-resident, with the High Commissioner based in Singapore, and an Honorary Consulate-General in Karachi. It refers visa questions to ICA. We could not find any official list of Singapore-appointed authorised visa agents in Pakistan on ICA or MFA websites as of 13 October 2026.
In practice, most Pakistani tourists without a Singapore contact apply through a travel agency that files through ICA's e-Service. Before you pay any agency, ask it which route it uses: local contact, ICA strategic partner, or mission-appointed agent. A genuine filer can print your approved e-Visa from ICA's system.
Chapter 04
How much is the Singapore visa fee from Pakistan?
The official Singapore visa fee for a Pakistani applicant is SGD 30 (≈ PKR 6,500), a non-refundable ICA processing fee paid online by Visa or MasterCard, according to ICA. Because the filer submits and pays online, the SGD 30 is usually collected from you as part of their quote.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| ICA processing fee | SGD 30 (≈ PKR 6,500) |
| Our service fee | Quote on WhatsApp |
| Total | SGD 30 + service fee |
Ask any agency to show the SGD 30 separately from its own fee. See the full Singapore visa fee breakdown and our fee policy.

Chapter 05
What documents do Pakistanis need for a Singapore visa?
ICA's official list for a Pakistani social or business visit visa is short (ICA Pakistan page):
- Form 14A, completed and signed by you. Your application is made on what you declare in it.
- Recent colour photograph, taken within the last three months, meeting ICA's photo guidelines.
- Copy of your passport biodata page, valid for at least six months from your date of entry.
- Form V39A, Letter of Introduction (LOI), which may be issued by a local contact in Singapore. ICA also accepts LOIs issued by your own country's embassy if you cannot get one from a local contact.
ICA adds that additional supporting documents may be required case by case. Pakistani applicants are commonly asked for proof of funds, employment or business, and travel plans. The checklists below are what we prepare so the file is ready if ICA asks.
If you are employed
- Salary certificate and employer NOC or leave letter with return date.
- Bank statement for the last 3–6 months.
- Return flight reservation and hotel booking.
- Government employees: departmental NOC (FIA asks for it at departure, per the FIA FAQ).
If you run a business
- Business NTN and FBR tax return.
- Chamber of Commerce, SECP or partnership registration.
- Business and personal bank statements for 3–6 months.
- For a business visit: the local contact must act for the Singapore-registered company that invites you.
If you are a student
- Student ID or enrolment letter, plus institution NOC.
- Parent's sponsor letter, bank statement and NADRA FRC.
If you are a housewife or dependent
- Spouse's sponsor letter with nikah nama, or NADRA FRC for other relatives.
- Sponsor's bank statement and income proof.
- Family travelling together can be filed as a family application by the filer.
If you are retired
- Pension letter and bank statement showing pension credits.
If you are a freelancer
- FBR NTN and tax return showing freelance income.
- Bank statements showing regular foreign-remittance credits; client contracts.
If you are visiting family in Singapore
- Your relative completes and signs Form V39A as your local contact (Singapore citizen or PR, 21+, with Singpass) and can submit the application through ICA's e-Service.
- Relationship proof (NADRA FRC, nikah nama or birth certificates).
Tip: tap an item to tick it off. Your ticks stay on this device.
Chapter 06
How much bank balance do you need for a Singapore visa?
Singapore does not publish a minimum bank balance for visit visas. ICA says only that short-term travellers should have sufficient cash and proof of onward travel when they arrive (ICA, Entering Singapore). Singapore is an expensive city, so your funds should clearly cover hotel, food and transport for every day of the trip, and match your income history. Avoid large deposits just before applying. We advise on genuine funds only.
Chapter 07
How to apply for a Singapore visa from Pakistan, step by step
- Choose your route: a local contact in Singapore, or an agency that files through ICA's e-Service. Ask the agency which route it uses.
- Fill and sign Form 14A, and arrange Form V39A (from your local contact, if you have one).
- Prepare your photo (taken within 3 months), passport copy and supporting documents.
- The filer submits the application on ICA's e-Service and pays the SGD 30 fee by card.
- Wait about 3 working days, excluding the day of submission. Apply within 30 days before arrival, as ICA advises.
- The filer prints your e-Visa from the e-Service once it is approved.
- Submit the SG Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival.

Chapter 08
How long does a Singapore visa take from Pakistan?
ICA processes Singapore visa applications within three working days, excluding the day of submission, although some applications take longer (ICA). ICA also advises applying within 30 days before arrival, so do not apply months in advance. For a holiday, apply 2–4 weeks before your flight and book refundable travel until the visa is approved.
Chapter 09
Why Singapore visas get refused (and how to avoid it)
ICA considers each application on its own merits and does not publish refusal reasons or approval rates. These are the common weak points in Pakistani files:
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Form 14A details that do not match the passport or other documents | Fill the form carefully; you sign a declaration. |
| Photo older than 3 months or outside ICA guidelines | Take a new photo to ICA specifications. |
| Passport valid for less than 6 months from entry | Renew the passport first. |
| Unclear purpose or no ties to Pakistan | Add employer NOC, business documents, family ties and a clear itinerary. |
| Weak or recent funds | Show a natural income history, not a lump-sum deposit. |
| Filed by someone who cannot show their filing route | Use a local contact or a filer who can show you the ICA e-Service record. |
Chapter 10
What happens at the airport? (FIA and arrival checks)

At Pakistani airports, FIA checks visit-visa travellers for a return ticket, hotel booking, funds and a "sound profile" (FIA FAQ). Since October 2026, pre-immigration desks at major airports also check hotel details, proof of funds and travel insurance (trips.pk citing Express Tribune). Carry your NADRA polio vaccination certificate (Express Tribune, Oct 2026).
Carry: printed e-Visa, return or onward ticket, hotel booking, bank statement and card, employer or business documents.
On arrival in Singapore, according to ICA:
- Submit the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) within 3 days before arrival, including the arrival day. It is free on the ICA e-Service or the MyICA app (ICA SGAC page). ICA warns that commercial sites charging for SGAC are not affiliated with it.
- Present your passport (valid 6+ months) and give biometrics (fingerprints, face, iris).
- Have sufficient cash and proof of onward travel.
- You receive your e-Pass by email (the address you gave in the SGAC), showing your permitted stay and last day.
- Visit-pass holders may not engage in business, professional or paid employment activities, and overstaying is a punishable offence.

Chapter 11
Pakistanis living in the UAE or Saudi Arabia
Pakistanis living in the UAE or Saudi Arabia can apply for a Singapore visa through the Singapore missions there or their authorised visa agents, or through a local contact in Singapore. ICA tells applicants to liaise with the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission for its agent procedure. Singapore's MFA lists two missions in the UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai) and two in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh and Jeddah). Use your Emirates ID or iqama, local bank statement and employer letter, and make sure your residence visa is valid beyond your return date. The SGD 30 ICA fee is the same.
Chapter 12

Chapter 13
Frequently asked questions
Do Pakistanis need a visa for Singapore?
Yes. Pakistan is on the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) list of countries whose travel document holders need a valid Singapore entry visa before travelling, checked on 13 October 2026.
Can I apply for a Singapore visa online myself from Pakistan?
No. ICA does not take Singapore visa applications directly from Pakistani travellers. The application is submitted through ICA's e-Service by a local contact in Singapore, an ICA strategic partner, or an authorised visa agent of a Singapore Overseas Mission.
How much is the Singapore visa fee from Pakistan?
ICA charges a non-refundable processing fee of SGD 30 per application, paid online by Visa or MasterCard. Any amount above that is the service fee of the agent or partner who files your application.
How long does a Singapore visa take from Pakistan?
ICA says it processes visa applications within three working days, excluding the day of submission, although some applications take longer. Apply within 30 days before your arrival.
Is there a Singapore embassy in Islamabad?
Singapore's High Commission to Pakistan is non-resident: Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists the High Commissioner as based in Singapore, with an Honorary Consulate-General in Karachi. Visa matters are handled by ICA.
What documents are needed for a Singapore visit visa from Pakistan?
ICA asks for a signed Form 14A, a recent colour photo taken within three months, a copy of your passport biodata page valid for at least six months, and Form V39A (Letter of Introduction) where applicable. More documents may be requested case by case.
How long can a Pakistani stay in Singapore on a visit visa?
The ICA officer at the checkpoint decides the length of stay and sends it to you by email as an e-Pass. ICA says the period of stay is not tied to the validity of your visa.
What is the SG Arrival Card?
The SG Arrival Card (SGAC) is a free online arrival and health declaration that all visitors must submit within three days before arrival, including the arrival day. It is not a visa.
Can Pakistanis transit Singapore without a visa?
Only if they do not pass through immigration. Singapore's 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility is for certain nationalities only, and Pakistan is not among them.
Is a Singapore visa easy for Pakistanis?
Singapore processes visas quickly, but each application is considered on its own merits and there is no published approval rate. A clear purpose, genuine documents and a strong profile matter most.
