Chapter 02
How much is the Thailand visa fee for Pakistanis in 2026?
The Thailand visa fee for Pakistani passport holders applying in Pakistan is PKR 13,000 for a single-entry tourist visa. This is the official embassy fee; it is set in rupees, not baht, so the exchange rate does not change it.
You will see higher prices online, such as PKR 19,500, PKR 27,000 or PKR 27,900. Those are travel-agency packages that bundle the PKR 13,000 government fee with service charges, or they are old news figures. Always ask any agency to show the official fee and its service fee separately. That is honest pricing, and it is how we price.
Chapter 03
What will a Thailand visa cost you in total?
The total cost of a Thailand visa for a Pakistani applicant is the official fee plus any optional service fee. Travel costs are separate.
| Item | Single entry | Multiple entry |
|---|---|---|
| Official embassy fee | PKR 13,000 | PKR 65,000 |
| Our service fee | Quote on WhatsApp | Quote on WhatsApp |
| Total visa cost | Official fee + service fee | Official fee + service fee |
| TDAC arrival card | Free (official site) | Free (official site) |
You pay the official fee directly to the embassy, in cash, against your application confirmation. You pay our fee to us. We never mark up the embassy fee or hide it inside a package. See our fee policy.
Costs not included in the visa price (budget for these separately):
- Return flights. FIA and CAA asked airlines for a same-airline, same-PNR return ticket on visit visas (ARY News, Oct 2024).
- Hotel booking (genuine and ideally cancellable).
- Travel insurance (not listed by Thailand for a tourist visa, but now checked by some Pakistani airport teams).
- Funds for the trip: Thailand asks for evidence of at least THB 20,000 (≈ PKR 165,000).
Chapter 04
How do you pay the Thailand e-Visa fee in Pakistan?

For applications to the Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad, you pay the visa fee in cash at the embassy's Visa Gate after submitting your e-Visa online. This is set out in the embassy's e-Visa notice (March 2025):
- Submit your application at thaievisa.go.th and print the application confirmation.
- Take the confirmation and the exact cash amount to the Visa Gate, Royal Thai Embassy, Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad.
- Payment hours on working days: 09:30–13:00 and 14:00–15:30. Ramadan hours are shorter (09:30–14:30 Monday to Thursday, 09:30–12:30 Friday, per the notice).
- Processing (about 14 working days) starts once the fee is received and acknowledged.
Karachi applicants: if your application is assigned to the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi, the embassy notice says to check payment options with that mission. Call the consulate before you go.
Can someone else pay for me? The embassy accepts applications made individually or through a representative, but it says it is not responsible for incomplete applications submitted that way. If someone pays on your behalf, make sure they bring your exact application confirmation.

Chapter 05
Is the Thailand visa fee refundable?
No. The Royal Thai Embassy Islamabad states that visa fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. You can withdraw an application in your e-Visa account, but the fee will not be returned. A refusal therefore costs you PKR 13,000 (or PKR 65,000 for multiple entry).
This is the main reason to prepare carefully. The embassy also warns that fake documents lead to immediate rejection and possible blacklisting of the applicant and the travel agent. A blacklisting costs far more than the fee.
Chapter 06
Single entry or multiple entry: which should you pay for?
Choose single entry unless you will definitely enter Thailand twice or more within 6 months.
| Question | Single entry (PKR 13,000) | Multiple entry (PKR 65,000) |
|---|---|---|
| Validity | 3 months to enter | 6 months, multiple entries |
| Stay | Up to 60 days | Up to 60 days per entry |
| Best for | One holiday, honeymoon, family visit | Repeat visits, e.g. Thailand–Malaysia–Thailand loops |
| Extra financial checks | THB 20,000 evidence | Same THB 20,000 rule in the MFA guide; some Thai missions ask for 6 months of statements for multiple entry |
For a Bangkok–Kuala Lumpur–Bangkok trip, multiple entry can make sense. Otherwise, the single-entry visa plus a separate Malaysia eVISA is usually much cheaper.
Chapter 07
How much is the Thailand transit visa fee for Pakistanis?
The Thailand transit visa costs PKR 11,000 for a single transit and PKR 22,000 for a double transit at the Royal Thai Embassy Islamabad. You need it only if you will pass through Thai immigration (leave the airport) on the way to another country. If you stay airside and do not clear immigration, check with your airline whether a transit visa is needed; the TDAC also does not apply to passengers who do not go through immigration control.

Chapter 08
Pakistanis paying from the UAE or Saudi Arabia
If you live in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, your Thai e-Visa goes to the Thai mission in that country, and the fee and payment method are set by that mission, not by the PKR schedule above. Check the fee shown in your e-Visa account before you pay.

How much is the Thailand transit visa fee for Pakistanis?

Why do some websites show PKR 19,500 or PKR 27,000 for a Thailand visa?
Those are agency package prices that bundle the official PKR 13,000 fee with service charges, or old figures. The official embassy fee for a single-entry tourist visa is PKR 13,000.
Is the multiple-entry Thailand visa worth it?
Only if you will enter Thailand more than once within 6 months. At PKR 65,000 it costs five times the single-entry fee, so most first-time Pakistani tourists choose single entry.
Is there any other official charge besides the visa fee?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is free on the official site tdac.immigration.go.th. Your other costs are flights, hotel, travel insurance and any service fee you choose to pay a consultant.
Does the Thailand visa fee change with the exchange rate?
No. The Islamabad embassy sets the tourist visa fee in Pakistani rupees, so it does not move with the baht rate until the embassy publishes a new schedule.
